Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in the food service industry, with repair experience on ovens, dishwashers and EPA Refrigeration.
• EPA Refrigeration certification is required.
• Experience troubleshooting HVAC systems, refrigeration units and kitchen equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC/building maintenance certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep machines and building systems running smoothly.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions using manuals and diagrams.
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
• Maintain and repair equipment found in kitchens and dining facilities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Keep work areas clean and orderly.
