Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Huntington Beach is seeking a part-time coach to lead high-energy, scientifically designed workouts for groups and individuals. You will motivate participants, monitor form, and manage session flow to maximize results.

Qualifications

• Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness
• Health & Fitness minded people strongly preferred
• Ability to work and function in an ORANGE TEAM environment (Orange is more than a just a color, it’s an attitude)
• Flexible to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed

Responsibilities

• Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
• Helping members set and achieve goals
• Making sure members are using correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t
• Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
• Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
• Being a team player
