Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible experience or a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university; transcripts may be required.
• Must qualify through experience, education, or a combination of both.
• Background investigation and security clearance requirements are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Protect commercial passenger flights from terrorist activity, aircraft piracy, and other threats.
• Work discreetly aboard domestic and international flights.
• Conduct law enforcement, investigative, advisory activities; interview witnesses or suspects when required.
• Carry a firearm and maintain firearms proficiency for federal duties.
• Participate in multi‑agency operations with federal, state, and local partners.
• Be prepared for irregular schedules and frequent travel, including long assignments.
