Job summary

Transportation Security Administration in Oakland is seeking Federal Air Marshals to protect commercial flights and safeguard the traveling public. Duties include discreet in-flight presence, threat assessment, and rapid response to incidents, with frequent travel and irregular schedules.

Responsibilities

• Protect commercial flights from terrorist activity and related threats.

• Carry and maintain firearms proficiency as required for federal duties.
• Engage in multi-agency operations with law enforcement partners.
• Support counterterrorism and ground security missions.
• Conduct investigations, interviews, and advisory duties as needed.
