Job summary

Goldman Sachs Private Family Office in San Francisco seeks Analysts and Associates for an apprenticeship-based program to deliver comprehensive personal financial planning, investment planning and tax services to ultra-high net worth clients and their families.

You will join advisor teams, prepare client reports, and interact with clients and outside advisors while developing the skills needed to become a trusted financial advisor in a fast-paced, confidential, client-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 preferred; required within 4 months of hire.
• MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) proficiency.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Possess a high level of intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
• Enthusiastic and positive approach to problem-solving and client service.
• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Join an advisor team(s) and help service clients and their families, providing comprehensive personal financial planning, investment planning and tax services to our clients.
• Prepare client reports in areas such as personal financial statements, cash flow planning, tax projections, investment allocation and estate work.
• Telephone contact and/or face-to-face interaction with clients, assistants and outside advisors.
• Prepare income and trust tax returns for clients.
