Job summary

Gavin de Becker & Associates (GDBA) seeks experienced executive protection professionals for teams in Menlo Park/Palo Alto. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of residential or travel protection for at-risk clients and are capable of driving, traveling, and providing close protection during public appearances.

A newly hired Lateral Protector in Menlo Park/Palo Alto will earn no less than $105,000 in base earnings during their first year with GDBA.

Qualifications

• Experience in executive protection for high-risk clients.
• Ability to screen visitors and control access at protected sites.
• Experience coordinating security plans for residences and travel.
• Background check and licensing requirements are required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor property using GDBA command center tools and technology.
• Screen visitors and vendors; control access to protected sites.
• Coordinate and execute security plans; respond to medical emergencies.
• Provide physical protection and logistical support at clients’ homes and while traveling.
• Provide secure transportation as needed.
• Survey and prepare locations before client arrival (advance work).
• Prepare detailed documentation of suspicious activity.
• Maintain readiness to meet any threat.
