Job summary

Shootday is seeking freelance event videographers to join our global network. As an event shooter, you will capture RAW footage at a variety of events—from corporate functions to product launches—and deliver footage on time while we handle editing.

You’ll work with quality gear, collaborate with other shooters, and communicate clearly with clients and the Shootday team. Ideal candidates have proven event videography experience, a solid portfolio, and great adaptability to different environments.

• Proven experience in event videography with a strong portfolio.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work in different environments and event types.
• Reliable transportation to get to event locations.
• Strong technical skills with videography equipment.
• A team player who works well with others when needed.
• A videography degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality RAW videos on time (we handle the editing).
• Cover diverse events from corporate functions to product launches and social gatherings.
• Capture key moments, candid shots, and the event ambiance.
• Adapt your approach to each event's unique needs.
• Collaborate with other videographers when needed.
• Use your professional camera gear, including cameras, lenses, video stabilizers (gimbals), and high-quality microphones.
• Guide participants and set up shots for the best results.
• Communicate effectively with clients and the Shootday team.
