Job summary

The Cardiac & Vascular Institute in Gainesville, FL is seeking an Echo Vascular Sonographer to perform comprehensive Cardiac Echo and Vascular studies in a busy cardiology practice. You will document results in the Intergy EHR, support ICAEL/ICAVL accreditation efforts, train students and new staff, and uphold safety and quality standards in a patient‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification and dual registration in Cardiac Echo and Vascular (CCI/ARDMS).
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac and Vascular ultrasound experience.
• Complete required job competencies within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Echocardiograms and Vascular studies per ICAEL/ICAVL standards.
• Input data into Intergy EHR and generate complete reports.
• Charge for exams in the Intergy system.
• Interact with patients regarding instructions and results.
• Assist in training students and new staff.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies.
