Job summary

Set of X is seeking experienced Computer Network Defense Analysts (CNDAs) to support critical Intelligence Community missions from our Annapolis, MD area. You will monitor data from intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and logs to identify threats and strengthen defenses on national security systems alongside elite cyber professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, incident response, or related fields.
• Background in network or system administration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze data from intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and network/host logs to identify vulnerabilities and respond to cyber threats
• Develop and implement mitigations to strengthen network defenses and protect critical infrastructure
• Support diverse network environments, including wired, wireless (Wi-Fi/cellular), and collaborative platforms
• Analyze large data sets to identify patterns, generate insights, and inform mission decisions
• Collaborate with government, military, and contractor teams to support intelligence objectives
• Document and communicate findings, including new analytic methods and tradecraft
