Job summary

FC Cincinnati is seeking an Academy Performance Analyst Intern to join its Academy Performance Analysis department. The role provides hands-on experience in elite-level performance analysis and data-driven feedback for coaches and players.

The internship runs February to December, up to 28 hours per week, with a schedule that follows first-team fixtures and includes evenings, weekends and holidays. This is a paid hourly internship, with college credit also available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Performance Analysis or sports-related degree.
• Soccer coaching qualifications (US Soccer D or equivalent) are preferred as part of the candidate profile.
• This internship is paid hourly and may offer college credit.

Responsibilities

• Capture academy training sessions and code data live and post-training.
• Label academy fixtures and generate KPIs at both individual and team levels.
• Create educational videos using 1st-team and other-league footage to demonstrate best practice.
• Produce post-match analysis video for players and coaches.
• Work with the club's data analyst to create benchmarking for academy players.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Head of Performance Analysis and Director of Player Development.
