UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an Elevator Maintenance Mechanic to join the Elevator Shop team. You will inspect, maintain, and repair elevators across on-campus and off-campus university buildings under supervision.
The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in elevator maintenance, preferably in healthcare, academic, or research environments, with strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Safety and precise record-keeping are essential for this role.

UT Southwestern is actively seeking an experienced Elevator Maintenance Mechanic to join our Elevator Shop team. As an Elevator Maintenance Mechanic, you'll work under the general direction of the Supervisor of Elevator Maintenance to provide technical skills for inspection, maintenance, and repair of elevators in on-campus and off-campus university buildings.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of three (3) years work experience in maintenance, inspection, and repair of commercial elevators, preferably within healthcare, academic, or research institution environments.
An ideal candidate will also demonstrate the following skills:
Dallas Campus; assist other UTSW locations as needed.
Availability from 6:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday; some after-hours work as well.
