Job summary

BlueHorizon in Atlanta is seeking a skilled Elevator Installer to join our team. You will install, maintain and repair elevators and lift systems in various buildings, reading blueprints and schematics to ensure safe, code-compliant operation.

This full-time role requires at least 2 years of installation experience, strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in elevator installation or a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints schematics and technical manuals.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment 50 lbs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install new elevators according to blueprints and design specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on existing elevators to ensure safe operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues.
• Test elevator components for proper functioning and make necessary adjustments.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress.
• Follow safety protocols at all times while working at heights.
