You will read blueprints, assemble components, test equipment, and ensure safety on site. A high school diploma is required, with strong mechanical aptitude and good communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install elevators and other vertical transportation systems in accordance with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine installation procedures.
• Assemble elevator components, including guide rails, car frames, platforms, counterweights, doors, and control panels.
• Test all installed equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing elevator systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance on elevators to prevent malfunctions.
• Update maintenance logs and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on job sites.
