Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking an Elevator Technician to perform field service on all elevator types, VRCs, and rack-and-pinion systems. You will represent the company on-site with expert knowledge across electrical, mechanical, structural, and estimation areas, supervising personnel as needed.

The role requires 4+ years in the elevator industry, CET/NEIEP or eligibility, TWIC eligibility, and a commitment to safety, with strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in the elevator industry or equivalent.
• Possess or be eligible to get a CET or NEIEP elevator mechanic's certificate.
• Possess or be eligible to get a TWIC card.
• Elevator knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sit/stand for long periods of time.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Computer proficient.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Must pass Drug/alcohol screening and background check.
