Job Summary

The role contributes to product quality, production output, and workplace safety while developing foundational manufacturing skills.

The Floor AssemblerI supports manufacturing operations by performing routine, welldefined assembly tasks as part of a production team. The role follows detailed instructions, uses basic tools and equipment, and adheres to safety and quality procedures. Success is demonstrated through consistent task execution, attention to detail, and reliable support of production goals.

Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Production Support
  • Perform basic assembly of components or subassemblies according to work instructions
  • Use hand tools, fixtures, and basic equipment as required
  • Follow standardized assembly sequences and takt times
  • Assist with material handling, part staging, and workstation setup
Quality & Workmanship
  • Assemble products to required specifications and quality standards
  • Perform basic visual inspections to identify defects or nonconforming parts
  • Escalate quality concerns or assembly issues to leads or supervisors
  • Maintain clean, organized, and efficient workstations
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all safety rules, procedures, and use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Comply with manufacturing, quality, and housekeeping standards
  • Report safety concerns, incidents, or near misses promptly
  • Support adherence to 5S and continuous improvement practices
Team Collaboration & Communication
  • Work effectively as part of a production team
  • Follow supervisor direction and production priorities

Qualifications
