Job summary

The Emily Hotel is seeking a Bartender dedicated to delivering refined guest experiences. You will prepare beverages by recipe, serve food in the bar area, and assist with busser, food runner, and barista duties as needed.

A friendly, multitasking demeanor is essential for success in a busy venue. Responsibilities include greeting guests, maintaining bar stock, handling orders, and ensuring safety while operating all bar tools and the POS system.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a fast paced bar and/or restaurant.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Passion for hospitality.
• Strong spirits, beer and wine knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and acknowledge guests upon arrival.
• Prepare and serve beverages to guests according to recipes and contracts.
• Stock/restock appropriate areas of the bar with alcohol, glassware, ice and supplies.
• Effectively service a full bar top, cocktail station, and dining room orders.
• Safely and effectively transport food or beverages to a table of three in a single trip.
• Proficiency in the use and operation of all necessary tools and equipment, including the POS system, Gift Card and Credit Card terminals.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
