Job summary

Times Supermarkets Kailua is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager to support the Produce Department operations. You will supervise clerks, assist the Produce Manager, and, in the manager's absence, oversee the entire Produce Department to maintain quality, display, and stock levels.

The role requires physical stamina including lifting up to 75 lbs and working in cold environments. Starting pay is $18.50/hr, with higher rates in Kailua and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school graduate preferred and 18+ years old.
• 6 months to 1 year experience as Produce Clerk.
• Able to supervise and take responsibility; good communication skills.
• Must be able to work in cold environment and lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Produce Clerks and General Clerks in daily tasks.
• Sign and approve deliveries, invoices, price changes, and credits.
• Maintain and service produce displays and stock levels.
• Assist in training new employees and support Produce Manager during absences.
• Support and promote store programs and ensure compliance with policies.
