Job summary

Loenbro is seeking an on-site Superintendent in Nebraska to lead industrial mechanical construction projects up to $10M in value. You will coordinate activities with the Project Manager, oversee crews, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence across energy, mining and manufacturing sectors.

You will bring 8+ years of relevant experience, a Journeyman license, and strong leadership with proficiency in MS Office and scheduling tools.

Qualifications

Electrical Journeyman License required or equivalent.
Engineering or Construction Management Degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction of industrial & commercial projects.
Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role overseeing mechanical trades.
Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.
Completion of OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training.
Ability to travel at least 75% of the time.
Driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman to keep critical activities on track.
Oversee field activities for industrial construction from setup to closeout.
Document field issues impacting budget, quality, or schedule and report to PM.
Respond to subcontractor requests affecting budget, quality, or schedule.
Supervise daily work of employees and ensure safety/compliance.
Coordinate labor, equipment, and subcontractors for timely, cost-effective completion.

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, scheduling, employee oversite, and management of industrial mechanical construction projects up to $10M in value. Assists Project Manager in coordinating activities of employees engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications.This position is responsible for assisting craft supervision to coordinating activities of workers engaged in construction process, utilizing knowledge of equipment, techniques, procedures, and specifications.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman. Ensure that critical activities and decisions remain on schedule for the project management team.
Oversee field specific activities for industrial construction projects from setup to closeout related to the industries that Industrial Construction serves energy, power, mining, manufacturing, pharma, etc.
Document project field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule, and provide to the project management team.
Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule.
Supervises the daily work of employees.
Verifies conformance of finished work product, including overseeing compliance with all contract requirements.
Ensure all safety and environmental requirements are met.
Coordination of all labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with Project subordinates and other Loenbro companies to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of project.

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

Electrical Journeyman License
Engineering or Construction Management Degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction of industrial & Commercial projects.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role overseeing mechanical craft trades.

Preferred

Experience with HCSS Heavy Job or similar job costing program.
Experience with P6 or similar scheduling software.
Experience with Viewpoint or similar account software.
Experience with Heavy Bid or similar estimating software.

Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks

Standing.
Sit, stoop, crawl, and kneel.

Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels.
