Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC. is seeking part-time coaches to lead classes for children aged 5–10 at various Bay Area elementary schools. Sessions run Monday–Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, about one hour each, with possible 30 minutes of pre-care.

Pay is $50–$65 per session, equipment provided. Training or shadowing is required before starting; reliable transportation and vaccination are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old.
• Candidates must live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports/coaching/working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Willing to undergo TB test and Live Scan background check before starting.
• Must have reliable transportation and be fully vaccinated.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Equipment provided; coach must have reliable transportation.
• Take attendance, manage sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
