Job summary

CALEX SPORTS INC is seeking part-time coaches to lead classes at Bay Area elementary schools. Sessions run Monday–Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with each class about one hour and optional pre-care. Pay is $50-$65 per session, and all equipment is provided.

You'll teach children aged 5-10 using our lesson plans, manage 8-16 students, attend a 2-day training, and coordinate attendance and communications with parents and school staff. Reliable transportation and on-site availability are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old.
• Live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Fully vaccinated and willing to undergo TB test and Live Scan background check.

Job Overview

Our programs are held at various elementary schools, Monday-Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This is a part-time position where coaches typically teach one class per day (about one hour), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of pre-care. These sessions focus on creating a fun and energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children.

The pay ranges from $50-$65 per session, and all equipment is provided by us.

Requirements

• Must be 19+ years old upon application
• Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work
• Must complete sending photo and short biography to upload in our website and introduce your experience in sports.

Work Type

Part-time (2-5 hours per week) Pay: $50-$65 per session

Programs are offered at multiple schools across the Bay Area. Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.

We do have openings for After School Tennis, Pickleball, Soccer, Dance, Yoga and Basketball.
