Job summary

Cal Poly Maritime Academy in Vallejo, CA is seeking an Elementary Tutor (Literacy/Math) to support local elementary students through the Federal Work-Study program. Tutors will work up to 10 hours per week, mornings to afternoons, with a pay rate of $16.90 per hour and a requirement to be a current Cal Poly Maritime Academy student.

Responsibilities include tutoring two days per week, coordinating with the Academic Support Provider, and tracking student progress. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

• Comfortable being a self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Defensive Driving course must be completed upon hire if driving to assigned school.
• Provide recent TB test documentation and pass school district/organizational background check.
