Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors is looking for enthusiastic Elementary Tutors in Upper Manhattan & The Bronx, NY. Ideal candidates will provide one-on-one instruction to help students in grades K–5 build strong academic foundations and develop confidence. Responsibilities include creating individualized learning plans and supporting students' homework and study habits.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree, experience with elementary education, and strong communication skills. This role offers flexible hours and the chance to make a meaningful impact on student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or teaching certification preferred.
• Experience teaching or tutoring elementary-aged students.
• Ability to engage young learners and differentiate instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one tutoring for elementary students (Grades K–5).
• Support foundational skills in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and other subjects.
• Monitor student progress and communicate with families.
