The Bureau of Indian Education seeks an Elementary Teacher for Turtle Mountain Middle School to provide instruction in an on-site classroom near the Reservation.

The position is a school year contract under Public Law 95-561 with annual renewal. Applicants must meet state licensure requirements; transitional licensure options may apply where applicable.

This role requires full commitment to in-person teaching as telework is not permitted under any circumstances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited education institution.
• Valid state Teacher certification/licensure in the endorsement area; emergency/provisional certificates may be accepted.
• If certified in another state, provisional contract may be issued with requirement to obtain full state certification within two contract terms.

Responsabilités

• Serve as classroom teacher in a BIE school on or near the Reservation.
• Renew contract annually under Public Law 95-561 and participate in required licensure processes.
