Responsibilities

Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and provides individualized and small group instruction.
Uses a variety of instruction strategies such as inquiry, group discussion, lecture, and discovery.
Translates lesson plans into learning experiences to optimize instructional time.
Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior for a productive classroom.
Evaluates students' academic and social growth, keeps records, and prepares progress reports.
Communicates with parents through conferences and other means about student progress.
Maintains current student data including relevant measures of academic progress.
