Job summary

Tulsa Public Schools seeks a teacher to build a flexible early childhood/elementary program and a class environment that supports learning and growth. You will establish rapport with students, families and colleagues while motivating learners to develop essential skills aligned with the district curriculum.

You will meet minimum qualifications including a Bachelor's degree, Oklahoma Elementary Teaching Certification (or eligible Emergency Cert), and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Oklahoma Teaching Certification in Elementary Education or Emergency Cert eligible.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Required to attend training in the science of reading.
• Maintain professional certification and attend district PD.

Responsibilities

• Create a flexible early childhood/elementary grade program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
• Establish effective rapport with students, families and colleagues; motivate students to develop skills and knowledge per district curriculum.
• Master the objectives of each lesson set forth by district curriculum and ensure alignment with district goals.
