Qualifications

• Utilizes assessment strategies aligned with the WCPSS curriculum and standards to assist in learner development.
• Ensures effective communication techniques with students, parents, and stakeholders.
• Engages in ongoing professional quality improvement for self, school, and district.
• Uses techniques to promote critical and creative thinking in students.
• Implements instructional strategies and materials reflecting diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Establishes a classroom management system to create a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Plans, aligns, implements, and evaluates effective instruction and assessment across environments.
• Collaborates with peers, parents, community, and stakeholders for continuous improvement.
• Integrates technology in teaching and learning processes.
• Adheres to safety procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
