Peachtree Academy Private Christian School is hiring two Elementary Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. The role focuses on literacy, numeracy, and character development in a Christ-centered school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
• Experience teaching in an accredited school preferred.
• Ability to effectively teach foundational literacy and numeracy.
• Experience with small-group instruction and differentiated learning.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for teaching children in a Christ-centered environment.
• Georgia Teaching Certification preferred.
• Out-of-state certified teachers are welcome to apply.
• Recent graduates who completed student teaching or field experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Create an engaging classroom culture with clear routines, procedures, and expectations.
• Plan and teach lessons balancing instruction, discussion, exploration, hands-on learning, and independent work.
• Instruct students one-on-one, in small groups, and in whole-class settings.
• Build foundational reading and math skills while encouraging curiosity and problem-solving.
• Collaborate with families and teachers to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate regularly with parents.
