Job summary

Ann Arbor Public Schools in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an Elementary Teacher for 5th Grade at King Elementary to join a dedicated team committed to student growth and inclusion. This is a 1.0 FTE position with placement on the district's Teacher's Salary Schedule.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Write reports, businesscorrespondence, and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions in group settings.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY:
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents and community.
Perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies.
