School Faculty - Elementary - Annunciation Catholic School

Annunciation Catholic School in West Park (Broward), Florida is seeking to hire a qualified full-time K-6 Elementary School Teacher for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. This teacher will plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for the elementary grade level. The applicant must be a dynamic and innovative educator with the ability to develop lesson plans that motivate learners. The teacher will perform all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field.
• Florida Department of Education Teaching certification; temporary or professional certification appropriate to teaching assignment required.
• Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese of Miami Office of Catechesis within three years of hire.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.
• Experience working with educational computer software including digital gradebooks.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
• Effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Must be of good moral character and supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
