Position Summary

The Elementary Teacher provides high-quality instruction and a positive learning environment for students in grades K-5. This role requires strong classroom management, effective planning, and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-based instruction aligned with the Georgia Standards of Excellence (GSE).

• Design engaging lessons that integrate literacy, math, science, and social studies skills.

• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

• Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.

• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, grades, and parent communication.

• Communicate regularly with families to share progress and support student learning.
