Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be flexible and willing to adapt to change on short notice.
• Extensive knowledge of elementary education concepts, principles and current best practices.
• Strong ability to assess, monitor and use data to differentiate instruction and to communicate effectively in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Improvise lessons in emergencies when detailed plans are unavailable.
• Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum content to students.
• Establish clear objectives for all learning activities and align with standards.
• Deliver intervention services to meet goals set by CCPS and Virginia standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver instruction and communicate with parents.
