Job summary

The Lyon County School District is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide diagnostic, remedial and consultative services for students with speech and language impairments. The SLP will participate on multidisciplinary teams and support individualized education programs.

The position offers a 9-month, 185/189 day schedule with employer-paid retirement benefits, and a salary range based on experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Speech-Language Pathology.
• License/Certification: ASHA certification preferred; must possess or be able to acquire Nevada license/credential.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess speech and language impairments.
• Diagnose and appraise speech and language impairments.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support IEPs.
• Provide progress updates and family/teacher guidance.
