Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support a safe, positive teaching and learning environment.
• Establish positive and productive relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Assist with implementation and monitoring of students' IEPs.
• Support social, emotional, and behavioral development of students.
• Supervise lunchroom, playground, halls, and classroom areas.
• Communicate consistently with teachers and staff.
• Reinforce skills taught by the teacher in various group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff to ensure supports are in place for students.
• Participate in professional learning opportunities as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student educational programming.
