Job summary

Elementary Special Education Teacher – Resource Room

Location: Marquette Elementary

Reports to: Building Principal

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate as required by MDE.
• Bachelor’s Degree and enrollment in a state approved program leading to teacher certification as required by MDE.

Preferred

• Previous classroom teaching experience in a comparable district.
• Learning Disability (SM), Autism (SV), Cognitive Impairment (SA), Early Childhood (ZS) endorsement.

Commensurate with credentials and level of experience and in accordance with MPS salary schedule. Full-time with benefit package. Starting range $51,814.00-$75,437.00.
