Responsibilities

Plan lessons aligned with enrolled grade level TEKS and district timelines, incorporating technology.
Deliver instruction to individuals or groups using differentiated strategies.
Identify learning styles and modify curriculum and teaching methods accordingly.
Evaluate students per department policies and ARD requirements.
Maintain accurate records (grades, attendance, progress, ARD paperwork).
Provide or supervise care as stated in IEPs and coordinate services.
Develop and implement an Individual Education Plan with staff input.
Communicate with classroom teachers and parents regarding student progress and behavior.
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, District policies for Special Education.
Attend faculty meetings and participate in committees as required.
