Job summary

HTU seeks a dedicated elementary educator to provide specialized learning experiences and supervision for students with disabilities within the regular classroom setting. You will develop these students' skills to meet the State Core Curriculum standards as outlined in their IEP, using approved curricula and directives to drive academic excellence.

Collaboration with classroom teachers, the Child Study Team, and parents is essential to support each student’s growth and success within the program.

Qualifications

• Required certifications include Elementary (K-6) and Students with Disabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement IEP-aligned instruction.
• Experience collaborating with school teams and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized learning experiences and supervise students with disabilities in an in-class model.
• Develop students’ skills and knowledge to meet State Core Curriculum Content Standards per IEP.
• Utilize approved curricula and school directives to achieve academic excellence.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, Child Study Team, and parents to support student success.
