Job description

Rate of Pay:

• $15.60 per hour

Job Terms:

• 7.25 hour per day
• 180 days per year

Job Description:

• The Elementary paraprofessional will work in classrooms to assist the classroom teacher and special education student(s)

Performance Responsibilities:

• Review and understand needs of assigned student(s)
• Help maintain a positive classroom environment
• Assistance with personal care needs, including but not limited to personal hygiene and toileting
• Monitor students needs throughout the school day
• Assist students with lessons and assignments
• Monitor health needs if applicable
• Maintain confidentiality
• Daily record keeping of student's needs
• Collaboration with special education and general education teachers
• Assist teacher in daily classroom needs
• Serve as an active participant in student/team meetings
