Job summary

Soliant is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher for an elementary setting near Philadelphia. This full-time contract runs Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, with an immediate start through the school year end.

You will manage a K-4 caseload of about 20 students, develop IEPs, collaborate with general education staff and families, and implement positive behavioral supports to help every child reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Valid Special Education Certification for grades K-4 is required.
• Experience in elementary special education (K-4) is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Collaborative approach with teachers, administrators and families is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to students with varying abilities.
• Write and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress.
• Maintain open communication with families regarding student development.
• Implement positive behavioral supports and classroom management strategies.
• Participate in school meetings, staff development, and professional growth opportunities.
