Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a major in special education; master's degree preferred.
• Hold valid PA special education certificate.
• Clear criminal history and child abuse clearances (Acts 34, 151 and FBI).
• Ability to perform essential job duties with/without accommodations; duties may evolve with needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with staff to support student education in the classroom.
• Develops and implements IEPs and other special education requirements.
• Maintains communication with administrators, parents, students and staff.
• Ensures compliance with school policies and state regulations.
• Uses varied instructional strategies to meet student needs and provide feedback.
