Job summary

Tantasqua Regional School District and Burgess Elementary School in Sturbridge, MA is seeking an LTS Speech-Language Pathologist for Burgess Elementary School. The assignment covers August 31, 2026 to October 30, 2026 and reports to the Principal.

Qualifications

• Degree in communication disorders.
• DESE licensure: Speech, Language, and Hearing Disorders (All).
• Experience as a classroom teacher at the elementary level.
• Elementary Specialty license in ELA or Special Education preferred.
• Master’s degree or higher in education administration and supervision preferred.
• CORI and fingerprinting results approved.

Responsibilities

• Help reduce or eliminate speech, language, and hearing impairments that interfere with learning, and provide direct service to meet individual needs.
• Serve as a resource to staff in language and communication program development.
• Maintain records and prepare required reports.
