Job summary

Chichester School District in Aston, Pennsylvania seeks an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (Elementary) to support students with speech and language needs. You will implement IEPs, collaborate with MDT teams, and plan lessons aligned with PA standards.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Pennsylvania Certification: Speech and Language Impaired PK-12

Responsibilities

• Educate students and implement IEPs.
• Work with students with special education needs and MDT teams.
• Plan classroom lessons aligned to students' skill levels and use materials to boost academics.
• Diagnose speech/language problems using testing tools and conduct assessments.
• Prepare lessons per PA State Standards and IEPs.
• Implement adaptations for testing and assessment.
• Provide language therapy for disorders (delayed speech, stuttering, voice, articulation).
• Participate in MDT evaluation, monitor IEP progress.
• Collaborate with School Psychologist on Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• Collect data and monitor progress; maintain attendance records.
• Work with teacher assistant and IEP team.
• Assume additional duties as assigned by program director.
• Keep up to date with developments in speech/language therapy.
