Please be advised that the following vacancy exists in Gloucester Township Public Schools.
POSITION: Elementary School Teacher (anticipated opening)
QUALIFICATIONS: See attached job description
LOCATION: Union Valley Elementary School
EFFECTIVE: September 1, 2026 or upon completion of required paperwork.
SALARY: As per GTEA Contract ($64,290 - $109,356 per year. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.)
BENEFITS: Full Time Staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription, Dental and Vision Benefits. Sick, Personal and Bereavement Day are included.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP PUBLIC SCHOOLS
TITLE: ELEMENTARY TEACHER (Pre K - Grade 5)
QUALIFICATIONS: Holds or is eligible for a New Jersey Instructional Certificate (i.e.: Teacher of Preschool K-3; Elementary K-5; Elementary School Teacher; Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped).
REPORTS TO: Principal
JOB GOAL: Instructs assigned pupils in accordance with curriculum adopted by the Board of Education.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
COMPENSATION: Salary shall be established as budgeted and approved by the Board of Education in agreement with the Gloucester Township Education Association contract.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 month year
VACATION: There is no vacation time allotted to this position.
EVALUATION: Performance of job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
