Job summary

Memphis Business Academy Charter Schools Network is seeking dedicated teachers to advance the mission of the academy. The selected candidates will develop and execute standards-aligned curricula while continuously improving their instructional practices based on feedback.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with a preference for a Master’s degree and comes with responsibilities including engaging lesson presentations and collaborative efforts with administrative staff. We seek individuals who have a love for children and a commitment to educational success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• Content area certification is preferred.
• Minimum of one year working in urban education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ambitious, standards-aligned lesson plans.
• Provide engaging and rigorous instruction to students.
• Analyze student achievement data with the academic team.
• Communicate proactively with students and families.
• Attend all Professional Learning Community Meetings.

Excellent communication skills

High level of personal organization

Bi-lingual

Education

Bachelor's degree
