Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain classroom routines and school-wide procedures.
• Create and teach daily lesson plans aligned to district curriculum.
• Implement strategies to promote high-quality student performance in both academics and behavior.
• Maintain discipline and a safe, respectful classroom environment in accordance with school and district policies.
• Create a classroom atmosphere that supports learning and reflects the maturity and interests of students.
• Demonstrate best practices in teaching and model correct use of oral and written language.
• Take appropriate precautions to protect student records, school materials, and facilities.
• Report student injuries, accidents, illnesses, and disciplinary concerns promptly to school administration.
• Assign reasonable and purposeful classwork and homework.
• Remain on-site during the entire school day unless excused by the Principal or designated representative.
• Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal or their designee
