Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains an effective educational program aligned with statewide and district goals.
• Plans, organizes and directs the implementation of school activities.
• Establishes a positive learning climate and ensures efficient operation of instruction and business.
• Initiates and supervises programs to meet school needs and supervises curriculum development.
• Assists in budgeting and monitors expenditures; prepares required reports.
• Coordinates with central administration to address school problems.
• Enforces policies and regulations; interprets district guidelines for staff and students.
• Schedules classes to meet student needs within guidelines.
• Participates in curriculum revision and evaluation.
• Maintains high standards of student conduct and discipline as required.
• Supervises staff and participates in staff evaluation and professional development.
• Oversees facility use and records management; ensures accuracy of attendance data.
• Handles daily operations and supervises school personnel and programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
