Job summary

The Acton Boxborough Regional School District is seeking a School Nurse to join our school health services team for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you will provide high-quality, student-centered nursing care in a collaborative and supportive environment.

The nurse will support student health needs and promote a safe and healthy school community. Schedule: Full-Time, per the school year calendar (approximately 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Massachusetts Registered Nurse license required.
• DESE certification or eligible for certification.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Experience in school, pediatric, or public health nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct student nursing care during the school day using the nursing process.
• Manage acute and chronic health conditions and follow policies with health staff.
• Provide primary and emergency care to students and staff.
• Administer and supervise medication administration per policy and state regulations.
• Establish health care plans for students with special health needs.
