King’s Ridge Christian School in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Lower School Nurse to manage the health and safety program for elementary students and staff, delivering direct clinical care and handling medical emergencies in a Christ-centered environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Georgia RN or NP license, maintains CPR/AED certifications, and has pediatric or school-nurse experience, with a commitment to confidentiality, professional judgement, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Valid, unrestricted RN or NP license in the state of practice.
Active CPR and AED certifications.
Maintain personal Nursing Professional Liability Insurance.
Sound clinical judgment, strong attention to detail, high confidentiality, self-motivation, and proficient computer skills.
Previous nursing experience in pediatric care, school settings, or private education preferred.

Responsibilities

Direct Care & Management: Provide direct nursing care, triage, and emergency first-aid management for student and staff injuries or acute illnesses.
Health & Safety Promotion: Develop and implement health protocols to prevent illness, control communicable diseases, and promote student well-being.
Medical Administration: Administer prescribed medications, maintain accurate student health records, and ensure compliance with state healthcare regulations.
Health Education & Support: Serve as a subject-matter resource for faculty on health matters and assist in health instruction when appropriate.
Community Engagement: Collaborate compassionately with parents, staff, and administration regarding student health concerns, displaying diplomacy and flexibility.
