Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required or preferred; two years nursing experience ideal.
• CPR certification required.
• Arizona Nursing Certification or National School Nurse Certification to be acquired within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains a comprehensive school health program.
• Maintains information about the health and developmental status of students.
• Gathers statistics for district and state reports.
• Ensures compliance with immunization requirements for all students.
• Participates in health screenings and referrals as defined by district policies.
