Job summary

Centennial School District seeks a Staff Nurse at McDonald Elementary School to support the Certified School Nurse and maintain daily health services. The role requires an LPN license in PA, CPR/AED certification, and a 10-month/180-day employment term with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:25 am to 3:55 pm.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited practical nursing program.
• LPN license in PA required.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• RN in PA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with health records management for students.
• Maintains confidentiality of student health information.
• Supports screenings and notifies parents of results for immunizations and physicals.
• Completes state-m mandated screenings with the nurse.
• Transcribes physician orders for medications and staff health procedures.
• Staffs health office during nurse’s absence or emergencies.
