Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide educational, career, and personal guidance and counseling services.
• Instruct in accordance with the Naugatuck teacher job description.
• Develop and deliver the school counseling curriculum.
• Assist students with academic issues, career planning, and social/emotional development.
• Provide individual and small group counseling within certification scope.
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to meet student needs.
• Plan, evaluate, and revise the school counseling program.
• Advise students and parents on progress toward promotion, GPA, scholarships, and awards.
